Black Friday Fever Has Begun

How important are these super sales to you?

In the past, bargain hunters would line up outside of their favorite big box stores starting around 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, now, with some stores opening on Thanksgiving and others starting their Black Friday sales at midnight instead of 6 a.m. people feel the need to gather at the stores even earlier.

On Wednesday night a trio of shoppers, bundled up and shivering from the damp chill, sat outside of Best Buy in Orange.

"What's so important that you would miss Thanksgiving to sit outside this store for 30 hours?" we asked.

"A 52-inch tv for $199 and a camcorder," one of them answered.

The precious cargo is stacked within a few yards of the front door and all 10 will be gone within minutes of those doors opening at midnight, Friday morning.

Black Friday shoppers are serious about accomplishing whatever they set out to do in one day, so be prepared, get your winter parka, warm boots and gloves on and get ready for the mad rush.
