CAI-CT offers Training Program for Condominium Board Members and Volunteers

A training course for volunteer community association leaders is being offered in Newington, CT on Saturday, April 21, 2012 by CAI-CT.

An essential training course for volunteer community association leaders is being offered at the Recreation Center at Churchill Bridge 2 Condominium in Newington, CT on Saturday, April 21, 2012 by the Connecticut Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-CT). Board Members and other Volunteer Leaders of condominiums, co-operatives, timeshares, and other homeowner associations are encouraged to attend. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.. Light breakfast and lunch will be served.

The class, entitled “The ABCs: A Basic Course for Community Associations”, offers volunteer community leaders an opportunity to educate themselves on all aspects of community association operations. Attendees will review the history, organization, and financial structure of community associations as well as learn problem-solving techniques to assist them in their roles as leaders.

Attendees will value the interaction with course facilitators and peers at the ABCs workshop. They will be able to ask questions, get detailed explanations, and receive feedback. Visual aids that help explain and clarify new concepts and ideas will enhance the learning experience.
