Get Your Tickets for "Chicago" While You Still Have a Choice

Amity High School musical productions are epic and those in the know already have their tickets, are you among them?

When I said seats for Chicago were going fast, I wasn’t kidding.

As actress Kim Simon pointed out recently, four years ago, when Rob and Andrea Kennedy first came to Amity High School to take the lead on the theater department, the cast was scrambling to sell seats on performance days.

But in the past two years, Amity’s theater department has gained a powerful presence and glowing reputation in the region. If you don’t get your tickets in advance, you are left waiting at the box office on the show night, hoping someone will turn in their tickets because of an illness or some other reason.

Amity’s award-winning productions are the envy of many other performance companies across the state and at $17 admission is a bargain.

Rehearsals for this year’s musical, “Chicago,” are well underway and the cast, crew, orchestra and directors are working hard to make it the best it can be.

I’ve attached screen shots of the seating chart for each of the five performances. If you think it’s not sold out yet and that you still have time… think again.

Over the years I’ve watched the pattern and, I’m here to tell you, you’d be wise to log in and grab some seats while you still have some kind of choice.

“Chicago, The Musical” is scheduled for April 1st, 2nd, 7th, 8th & 9th at 8pm.
Tickets are $17 and all seats are reserved. Tickets may be purchased online at www.amityperformingarts.com or by phone at 203-392-2019.

Advertising in the Chicago playbill and corporate sponsorships also are available now.  Consider advertising or becoming a corporate sponsor to get your name out to the public.  Amity’s shows reach 3,700 audience members in the BOW area each year.  For more information visit the website.

It’s so easy to purchase your tickets and they arrive in the mail rather quickly. I’ll see you at the show.
