This Week at the Case Memorial Library

Here are three events happening at the Case Memorial Library between Monday and Saturday.

The Case Memorial Library, 176 Tyler City Road, will host the following events this week.

Genealogy Workshop

On Monday, July 18 the Case Memorial Library staff welcomes Greg Thompson for a Genealogy Workshop at 7 p.m.

Thompson, of the Connecticut Society of Genealogists, will teach you how to research your family history. The topic: building a genealogy library.

Children’s Talent Show: Be a Star!

On Thursday, July 21, the library staff welcomes children of all ages to show their talent at 5 p.m.

This event is open to children of all ages (limited to 20 entries). 3-minute limit, microphone and piano available. Refreshments and prizes for all!

 

Children’s Film: E.T. – The Extraterrestrial

On Saturday, July 23, the library will show the film E.T. - The Extraterrestrial at 1 p.m.

This viewing of Steven Spielberg’s endearing sci-fi classic is 115 minutes. Rated PG. Bring a light snack; library staff will provide juice.
