Senior Connection “A Fair to Remember”

Orange Chamber Senior Connection Fusion Group sponsors first annual event

The first Annual Senior Connection “A Fair to Remember” is set for Friday, April 15 at the High Plains Community Center, 525 Orange Center Road, Orange from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.   The event is free of charge.

The event is intended to provide a day of entertainment, information, and local opportunities to area senior residents and their families and will include a dance exhibition by Fred Astaire Dance Studio, a ashion show courtesy of Dress Barn, a Zumba demonstration by Studio Z, and meal preparation for 1 or 2 people by a nutritionist from Shop-Rite Supermarket.  More than 30 vendors are expected to participate and a box lunch prepared by Jim and Nancy Nahas at Racebrook Market will be given to each attendee.

Noting that this event is the Senior Connection’s first promotional activity since coming together, Susan Noonan, General Manager of Lend A Hand a personal care agency and Chair of the Senior Connection said, “ Our Senior Connection members are dedicated professionals focused on providing quality services for our seniors and their families.”

The Senior Connection Group is one of three “fusion marketing groups” operating through the Orange Chamber of Commerce. The groups bring together businesses targeting a particular market to develop join marketing efforts and share resources.
