Police: Drivers Should Use Extreme Caution on Lambert Road

The following is a press release from the Orange Police Department:

The section of Lambert Road from Porter Lane to The Boston Post Road has been milled.  

Drivers should use extreme caution as the road surface is uneven.  During a rain event drivers may encounter areas of standing water due to raised storm drains. Drivers should be alert for other raised structures, such as gas and water valve covers.  

Traffic will be restricted on Lambert Road between Hall Drive and Orange Center Rd.  Access will be for residents/local traffic only. Motorists are again urged to use caution on the uneven road surface.  The milling portion of the project is scheduled to be completed today.  

Paving will begin on Monday 8/26/2014.  It is anticipated that paving and re-striping will be completed by 8/29/2014 so as not to interfere with the Labor Day Weekend.
