Locked Out Dichello Employees Staying Strong

Dichello union employees invited to speak at Rally on New Haven Green today.

At the entrance gate today, passersby saw fewer police, heard markedly less vulgarity toward "scabs," and honked their horns in support of the .

Dave Molster, the unofficial spokesman for the line, said morale was up since last week and he said they still have not gotten any word about unemployment benefits.

Molster praised the , whom he said, "have been great," throughout their ordeal. "They are here to keep everyone safe, they're doing a great job."

He added that he and his co-workers have been on the New Haven Town Green (closest to Elm Street) tonight at 5:30 p.m.

"We're still here, we're still willing to talk any time, any day ... we just want to get back to work," Molster said. "Nobody wants to be out here."
