Each week, Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice from Stratford:
Rivenova Italian Restaurant
Rivenova has been the best kept secret in Stratford for fine Italian dining since July 2009. Located at 2410 Main Street, just steps from the Railroad station. They offer a variety of Italian dishes all made fresh by owner/chef Roberto Nova. He makes everything to order including the sauces and dressings.
Prior to Opening this restaurant, Roberto was executive chef at Aldario's in Milford and Vazzy's in Bridgeport.
The current specials are Rack of Veal, Chilean Sea Bass and the chef's favorite, Lobster Diana. They also have a variety of seafood specials throughout Lent.
If you're looking for fine dining in a romantic setting, Rivenova is an excellent choice. Visit Rivenova menu to view their menu. The portions are generous so don't forget to ask for a doggie bag.
Great food at a reasonable price and friendly service. Highly recommended by Patch. Mention this article and Roberto will give you 10% off on your food .
