EASTWEST FAMILY SERVICE FOCUSES ON CONFUCIUS

The second EastWest family spiritual education service will explore the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius on Oct. 20 at 11:15 am in Orange, NJ.

The First Unitarian Universalist Church of Essex County offers a café-style setting for a fun and educational program. It is nondenominational and encourages individuals and families with children to explore a variety of alternative spiritual experiences.

This month's program includes a short film on the childhood of Confucius and his ethical/philosophical system. Over the course of the year, EastWest will give presentations designed to bring all ages together, spanning the gamut from animated films to Quaker Yoga!
