Celebrity Mixologist Adrian Alvarado best known for his role on ABC's General Hospital at Prime 16 on 464 Boston Post Road in Orange.

On January 29th, at 5 P.M., Celebrity Mixologist Adrian Alvarado will be kicking off the "Prohibition Wednesdays" at Prime 16 on 464 Boston Post Road in Orange.
 As an Actor/Mixologist, Adrian is best known for his role on ABC's General Hospital where he played Detective Cruz Rodriguez.    Originally from Jersey City N.J., Adrian moved to L.A. where he started booking commercials and TV appearances in "Without a Trace", "Big Love",  "Law and Order Los Angeles" and "Body of Proof" before landing his longest running role on General Hospital.  Since he moved back to the East Coast with his wife and two children, Adrian has always had a passion for the hospitality industry as well. Bartending didn't just become a side income, it became a passion. As a Mixologist, he worked for the famous Soho House Group, in Los Angeles and New York.   "The Cocktail culture is vastly growing, Its not just about going out and getting a drink.  Its about going out and enjoying a new experience in flavors and it's history in a responsible way." 
 Adrian points out, there is a difference between a Bartender and a Mixologist. A Mixologist tends to focus on the art and craft of mixing Cocktails, studying the classics, concocting new and exotic drinks, experimenting with lesser known distilled spirits and mixers, and, overall, pushing the limits of classic bartending. Adrian is excited to be in the New Haven area and joining Prime 16 in expanding the Craft Cocktail Culture by adding a little more fun to your drinking and dining experience.
