Ann "Eleanor" Sullivan, 82, of Orange, loving and devoted wife of 59 years to Edward E. Sullivan, died peacefully on January 2, 2012 at her home.
She was born October 5, 1929 in Scranton, PA, daughter of George and Cecelia Flannery Burns.
She worked for Cititrust Bank in Trumbull for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed teaching Catechism at Holy Infant Church, she loved tap dancing, was an avid reader, and especially enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband is two daughters, Kathleen Sullivan and her husband William Bradshaw, M.D., of Chicago, IL and Claire Sullivan of Orange; three grandchildren, Faye Sullivan Bradshaw, Celia Keniry and Conor Keniry; and her brother, George Burns of Orange.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 9 am at Holy Infant Church, Orange. Burial was in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven.
