Edward H. Burr Jr., age 82, of Orange entered into rest after a long illness on October 27, 2011.
He was the beloved husband of Marie Vitali Burr. Father of Kevin (Chrisanne) Burr and grandfather of Kristen Nicole. Brother-in-law of Nora Zandri, the late Dr. Anthony Vitale and Josephine Humphrey. He was predeceased by his parents Edward H. Burr Sr. and Elizabeth Bogart Burr and brothers Everett & Hanford (Hank) Burr.
A 45 year resident of Orange, he was a member and past president of the Orange Exchange Club and the V.F.W. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was a communicant of Holy Infant Church. For 25 years he was the financial manager of Nora Zandre’ Shoppes of Orange and New Canaan.
All are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday morning at 10:00 in Holy Infant Church. Entombment with military honors will follow in St. Lawrence Garden Mausoleum. There are no hours for visitation.
