Building a Labyrinth, Thunderstorms, Marketing at the Orange Ale House

Don't Forget Your Umbrella

The clouds that came in overnight thwarted the efforts of many a stargazer and could make for some thunderstorms Tuesday. The National Weather Service forecasts a 70 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 p.m., with new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half an inch.

Marketing Group

Ice Cream Social for Girls & Women

The Milford Girls' Volunteer Organization is hosting an ice cream social on Tuesday, Aug. 13.

Females ages 11 to 18 and women of all ages can join the Milford Young Women's Club or Milford Girl's Volunteer Organization. You do not need to be a Milford resident to join.

Help Build a Labyrinth

Church of the Good Shepherd Parishioner Richard Angal is creating a labyrinth in the church's side yard, as his Eagle Scout project. Visit the website to help donate to the project.

Art in Orange

Patricia Laspino's exhibit, “The Art of Awareness," will run until September 14 at the Davis Gallery.

Laspino's project seeks to increase awareness and appreciation for the beauty and diversity of the natural world and features hand-embellished limited editions on canvas and commemorative editions on paper, including a suite of etchings.
