Orange Police: Car vs. Sign Leads to DUI

A Seymour man was charged following the accident on the Boston Post Road.

A Seymour man was charged with DUI after he was allegedly involved in a car vs. sign accident at Taco Bell in Orange.

Police said officers responded to the 89 Boston Post Road business at 12:19 a.m. on April 10, on report of a car accident.

"Officers met with the operator and had him perform standardized roadside sobriety tests," the report states.

Orange Police identified the driver as Paul Patrigani, 30, of Seymour. Patrigani was subsequently taken into custody and charged, police said.

He was released after posting a $50 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on April 24.
