How Do You Recycle? — Survey Says...

Recently, the Orange Recycling Committee asked residents to complete a simple poll to give them a better idea of how you feel about recycling.

The Orange Recycling Committee made a poll available on the town website and asked four questions ranging from preferences in curbside recycling pickup or taking it to the Transfer Station themselves; frequency of recycling; preferred bin style and size and interest in obtaining a special Breast Cancer Awareness bin.

Of the 4,739 homes in Orange, 330 participated in the poll.

Remember, It is against state regulations to mix recyclables with disposal waste.
"All recyclables are to be separated and either put in the blue bins at curbside or taken to the transfer station and deposited in bins marked for recyclables, as posted at the station,  according to the regulations. "If this is not done, the town may be cited with penalties."
